Broward College invites applicants for a full time tenure track teaching position in Management to join an outstanding team of faculty and administrators providing high quality undergraduate level programs and services to students, the college, and the community.
Candidates should be passionate educators who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st century learners.
This position is a yearly two semester (163 day) contract.
The anticipated hire date is August 2012.
Minimum Education:Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management, leadership, or related field or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in management, leadership, or related discipline in business.
Minimum Experience/Training:General qualifications include demonstrated leadership and management experience, demonstrated teaching excellence, professional and technical writing and communication skills, and the ability to teach face-to-face, blended, or online courses.
The successful candidate will assist in the assessment of student learning outcomes, participate in departmental activities, and engage in professional development. In addition, the candidate will participate in activities to increase college institutional effectiveness including, but not limited to, committee work, industry and community relations, and student activities.
All schedules require office hours and any combination of day, evening, or weekend, flexible, e-learning, and traditional face-to-face classes.
