The Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (LISTA) is hosting its annual Technology Leadership Summit, Career Fair and Gala awards dinner in Miami on Thursday, October 30 th , 2008. Technology professionals from South Florida and the United States will be in Miami to discuss technology initiatives and how do they affect Hispanics and their communities in the U.S. The one day event has four main components: (1) LISTA Technology Summit, (2) Town Hall Meeting, (3) iWeeving Career Fair and (4) Annual Gala. The Technology Summit is free to the public but registration is encouraged since space is limited.

Green Technology in AmericaWell established Latino entrepreneurs discuss lessons learned and the importance of developing green technology to save the planet and ourselves. Panelists will provide insight on how to develop a strategy to use and recognize opportunity to become an eco-minded company finding solutions that will enable all Americans to reduce global warming.
