Blog Post: Talent Acquisition Teams - need to update your metrics?

How are you managing the metrics around time to hire, cost of hire and other recruitment measures?  If you are concerned about only "time to hire" then you may be missing the point.

Studies show that stats that measure quality of hire, new employee “ramp-up” time and retention are much more important than time to hire.  Why is this?  It is important to hire quality candidates that will stay over a fast hire just to satisfy out dated measures.

You may say that senior leadership is interested in the old number; and if that is the case then it's up to YOU to show why these new measures are more valuable.  Why? Because strategic HR leaders understand the value of making a business case around numbers that make sense - and that's YOU.
