Blog Post: Mayor's Career & Opportunity Expo

The Miami Dade Mayor, Carlos Alvarez, is spearheading the empowerment of local community development effots through a series of activities including the Career and Opportunity Expo in Liberty City. The event will bring together local resources available to residents (both public and private) as well as tax preparation assistance, free employability workshops, and a career fair for local residents.

The event is scheduled on Wednesday, January 16 (10AM - 2PM) at the African Heritage CUltural Arts Center located on 6161 SW 22nd Avenue, Miami. South Florida Workforce will also unveil its new mobile career center at the event.
