REHAB SVC - Cert Speech/Lang, Rehabilitative Services

The Rehabilitative Services department's patient population includes medical/surgical, neurological, respiratory, cardiac, and stroke patients from adolescent to geriatric age groups.

The Speech Therapist is responsible for performing speech and swallow evaluations and treatments, modified barium swallow studies (MBS), vital stimulation, dysphasia therapy, voice therapy, fiber optic endoscopic evaluation of swallow (FEES).

Skills / Requirements

Current Fl Speech Pathologist license required. Current BLS certification required.Vital certification preferred. At least 2 years of experience performing adult and geriatrics MBS studies. Experience with ventilated patients preferred. Excellent communication, computer, and customer skills required.
