Profile: Life at Navarro Discount Pharmacies

Although we have grown to become a corporate company, all of our stores still have a family feel. Our employees, customers, and local communities take notice of this, creating a great atmosphere in which we all take care of one another.

To make sure we stay connected with our employees, we host pre-shift meetings and conduct a confidential annual employee survey. We also recognize a retail, pharmacy, and distribution center employee of the month. Each employee of the month receives a substantial cash prize, lunch or breakfast with the CEO, and a picture in our company newsletter.

To foster that family feeling, we host a variety of celebrations and employee geared events, for example an annual picnic, bring your child to work days, and employee birthday recognition.

On the community side, we take part in a variety of events that promote health and wellbeing, including such things as health fairs, in-store screenings, and fundraisers for healthcare and charitable organizations.
