Assignment Capsule As a customer care specialist for customer support you will: directly respond to questions, handle issues and provide guidance on transactions, inquiries or complaints from both internal and external customers.


  • Receive, document and resolve customer inquiries by using established best practices
  • Build lasting relationships with Humana's customers
  • Educate customers, providers and employers about Humana's products and services both over the telephone and through face-to-face briefings

Skills / Requirements

Role Essentials


  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
  • Ability to type 50-55 wpm
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Role Desirables

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous Call Center or related customer service experience
  • Fluency in Spanish
Reporting Relationships

  • You will report to a Frontline Leader. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
