Jobing Description

Partners with accounting, store operations, warehouse, purchasing, cycle counters and other departments as appropriate to ensure accuracy of inventory transactions and ending balance.

Resolves any discrepancies found in analytical work in a timely manner.

Monitors inventory levels on a daily basis.

Requests and monitors daily cycle counts performed by cycle counters at the stores.

Understand and recommends any necessary changes to current inventory process flow to direct supervisor.

In charge of scheduling tri annual store inventories. As well as participating in the inventory observations of such inventories.

Together with the store operations department, monitors the accuracy of all inventory levels, resolving any errors as required.

Maintains accurate inventory control records and reports on discrepancies to management on a regular basis.

Responsible for monthly roll-forward of inventory balances.

Strong attention to detail is required. Candidate must also be a strong problem solver, able to create solutions to challenges in an expedient manner.

Interpersonally, must be able to communicate effectively with others, as it is required to interact with a variety of vendors, colleagues and sometimes customers.

Skills / Requirements

Must have completed a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting. With approximately 2 year experience in the field.

Must be Excel proficient and Bilingual.

Inventory analysis and/or Retail experience a plus.
