We are currently seeking a Sales Counselor!

The Sales Counselor participates in and moderates sales of apartments, utilizing Classic Residence by Hyatt marketing and sales philosophy and technique meeting budgetary guidelines. Establishes and maintains a friendly warm tone keyed to the sensitivity of the senior populations. Achieves individual sales goals utilizing Classic Residence by Hyatt sales techniques. Works collaboratively in a team environment to achieve the community’s sales goals

Principal Accountabilities / Essential Job Functions:
•Conveys senior living concepts and explains the benefits and program specifics to prospective residents.
•Communicates and facilitates the CRbH Resident application process.
•Generates prospect, depositor, resident, and community referrals.
•Determines prospective resident’s needs, overcomes objections and closes sales early and often.
•Builds and maintains relationships with prospects and family members
•Consistently meets sales goals.
•Meets phone-out and appointment goals on a consistent basis.
•Manages assigned leads and documents in the CRM system in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
•Acquires and maintains knowledge of local competition and real estate conditions.
•Conducts periodic site visits to local competition.
•Represents Classic Residence by Hyatt and establish relationships with business and community leaders.
•Performs other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:
•Ability to work weekends and evening events.

Key Competencies:
•Ability to understand and communicate a complex product and effectively address questions and concerns during the sales process.
•Upbeat, positive, flexible, team player with an enthusiastic personality and a high regard for integrity.
•Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, REPS preferred.

Education and Experience:
•Education: College degree preferred.
•Work Experience: 2-3 years of direct sales experience involving high-end products or services required. Proven individual sales experience as a top producer. Basic understanding of the retirement living and continuing care concepts preferred.
•Licensure / Certification: Must possess a valid driver’s license, where applicable

Skills / Requirements
Assist with creating site - specific marketing plans. Creates and generates traffic building ideas. Is able to effectively confirm the sale and overcome objections. Maintains an average of three (3) net sales per month, and 300 completed phone-outs per month. Involves Sales Director in day-to-day management of leads. Helps to keep marketing plans on budget while being "frugally creative". Serves as representative of retirement community at large as spokesperson for speeches, outreach seminars, special events and local interviews. Recommends corporate involvement when appropriate. Attends weekly staff meetings to review marketing plans, events and discuss prospects. Promotes team concept in selling and closing sales. Other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by the Sale Director. Prefer college degree in Marketing, and/or related studies, or equivalent in professional accreditation and/or career experience. Sales experience in a related industry a must. Public relations and/or advertising experience helpful. Upbeat, positive, flexible and enthusiastic personality. Computer literate.
