The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assumes primary responsibility for guest room cleaning and servicing of assigned area. Assist the Executive Housekeeper as required.

Requires knowledge of OSHA regulations for Hazcom training and blood borne pathogens. Working knowledge of union contracts, federal, state, employment, and Health Department regulations. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to communicate using a telephone, radio, or beeper. Ability to use office equipment (i.e., computer, typewriter, and calculator). Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, and co-workers. Ability to understand commands, questions, and instructions from supervisors and co-workers. Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions. Bilingual preferred.

Requires mobility. Climbing stairs when necessary for inspections; reaching six (6) to eight (8) feet to tops of showers and closets; pushing or pulling a fully loaded cart weighing twenty-five (25) to thirty (30) pounds; and lifting and moving linen bundles and vacuums weighing twenty (20) to thirty (30) pounds. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors. Normal sense of smell, touch, and sound. Normal vision and hearing range.

Requires a High school education or equivalent. Continuing education in Hospitality Management preferred. Along with one year experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
