Jobing Description
The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. 1.Provide staff and parent training and on site support in the area of applied behavior analysis for families and providers. 2.Perform observations and assessments of individual children in their living, educational and community environments. 3.Develop and implement behavior programs, data collection and other related services. 4.Collect data as specified in the contract and provide these data for all required reports. 5.Participate in local review committee meetings at which behavioral treatment programs are reviewed. 6.Participate in interdisciplinary meetings as assigned, including Enhanced Residential Group Care Services Committee, Therapeutic Foster care, and Permanency Team meetings. 7.Be on call twenty-four (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week for consultation in emergency crisis situations involving the serious behaviors of children. 8.Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Service Coordination and/or the Vice President of Network Development. Skills / Requirements
Working knowledge of behavior analytic principles and extensive knowledge of professional and ethical guidelines. Acquire knowledge of Federal and State Laws, and Departmental rules governing the practice of applied behavior analysis. Working knowledge of dimensions of and procedures for measurement and behavioral assessment. Acquire knowledge of child abuse and neglect, and basic health and safety principles, acquire ability to implement data collection procedures that are used to evaluate the direct and side effects of psychotropic medications. Working skill implementing training technologies and the ability to implement behavioral programs based on positive, proactive approaches. Use positive, proactive approaches to work cooperatively and effectively with providers, children, families, and ChildNet staff. One year (1) of experience providing behavior analysis services, experience with child welfare system strongly preferred.
