ModernAd Media is seeking a university student working towards a Marketing and Business degree or a recent university graduate with a degree in Marketing and Business with strong technical aptitude to assist the Marketing team with itsï¿½ day to day activities. This opportunity will give the intern valuable, real-world experience, as well as provide the Marketing team with additional administrative support.

The candidate should be capable of initiating and maintaining strong personal relationships. In addition, he/she should be able to coordinate with all the departments involved to ensure the completion of the associated marketing programs. A high degree of organization and self-motivation is required. This person must quickly learn the product and the market. He/ She must also stay aware of the upcoming company opportunities.

The Marketing Assistant will help to define, setup and manage the program and help with the company database, customer follow-up etc.

Duties include:

Assisting with PowerPoint, competitive matrix, price list, collateral and other materials needed

Send and respond to e-mails, manage direct response, phone follow-up

Scheduling

Prepare needed materials

Identify top prospects

Create business case/prospect type

Compile contact information and setup initial key meetings

Prepare reports for meetings

Maintain time spent on activities

Budgeting

Help create and track a modest budget
