Job: Line Cook

We are currently seeking a "Line Cook"

Prepare cold food items: sandwiches, salads, sauces, desserts, etc.
Store all food items properly, rotating to avoid spoilage.
Cook hot food as assigned.
Work line as assigned.
Put away deliveries when necessary.
Follow instructions on daily production sheets.
Handle line cooking for any meal period of day dependent on schedule requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean and sanitary work area.
Follow and maintain all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.

Basic knowledge in all facets of kitchen work.
Keen eye for details
Ability to follow recipe cards accurately.
Must be able to read and communicate in English
Must be sensitive to the needs of older adults and enjoy working with a senior population.
