Job: Buyer--Wholesale Food ($45-52kyr, Miami Gardens)

I am looking for a buyer that has experience in the food procurement industry. We are buyers for the cruiseline industry and need someone that can think on their feet and get things done in a very time sensitive environment. We utilize hundreds of vendors so negotiation experience and the sourcing of new vendors is critical. Specialty requests from clients require thinking outside the box to fill orders in a timely manner. Previous experience in a buying environment that utilized a high number of vendors is required. We pride ourselves on being the type of company that will do anything to fulfill a client request and need someone that can do so also. In addition, the right candidate will need to have experience in negotiating rates, putting out RFQ's, bids, and contracts.
