Job: Engineering Manager

This position provides, directs, and coordinates all engineering services for the Consumer Products Division operations (sugar packaging and rice processing). Focus is to improve current operations and facilitate the growth of the product line with new products, packages, and equipment.

Primary responsibilities include capital projects budget, repair/replacement budget, equipment and system evaluation, project feasibility analysis, planning and execution of engineering projects, technical support to production and maintenance, budget reporting, and special projects.

Candidate must have experience in a fast-paced, challenging and demanding environment with prior successes and accomplishments in driving change in culture, procedures and measurable performance while maintaining safety standards and GMP compliance.

Minimum 5 years of Engineering experience. Consumer Product Goods/ Foods industry experience a plus.

Four year college degree in Engineering or equivalent background

Demonstrated leadership ability

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to drive change and continuous improvement

Knowledge and expertise in both statutory and regulatory provisions and compliance policies of federal, state, and local agencies

Working knowledge of engineering industrial standards

Experience with Capital Projects budgeting and investment evaluation

Strong project management skills

Ability to comply with safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP¡¦s)

Familiarity with current material handling and packaging equipment

MS Office (Excel / Word / Project / Email) required
