ARE YOU A FIT? Are you a care giver? Would you enjoy providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care to ill, injured or convalescent persons? ASSIGNMENT CAPSULE Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons under direction of a physician or nurse in Medical Centers.

  • Assist with daily patient flow in areas as needed.

  • Gives direct patient care and performs indirect patient care activities, under the direction of a physician or nurse.

  • Assists physician with examination as required and assists other staff members in providing patient care.

  • Communicates observations of patient's status to nurse-in-charge.

  • Organize follow-up care and instructions for patients with abnormal test results.

  • Adheres to Nursing Department policies and procedures.

  • Must be compassionate, have patience, and customer service excellence

    • Skills / Requirements



    ROLE ESSENTIALS

    * Medical Assistant Certificate
    Medical Assistant experience 2 years or foreign MD
    * Bi-lingual English/Spanish required; must be able to read, write and speak both fluently
    * This position will have travel among our centers and will be required to travel to the assigned location at a moment's notice.
    * Basic Computer knowledge required.
    * CPR certification
    * Experience providing services with in a clinical, hospital, or physician office setting.
