Summary
Coordinates activities of job placement service for students and graduates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Ability to travel 90% of the time in the Miami-Dade employment Market calling on large companies.
 Cold calling and attaining appointments with mid to large size prospective employers to determine needs and to explain placement service.
 Assist prospective employers to develop employment plans based on appraisals of aptitudes, interests, and personality characteristics of graduates.
 Work with employers to come on site to FCC campuses to perform workshops and arranges on-campus interviews between employers and graduating students to facilitate placement of graduates.
 Collects, organizes, and analyzes occupational, educational, and economic information for use in job placement activities.
 Assists in conducting community surveys to gather labor market information such as prevailing wages, hours, training, and employment possibilities.
 Coordinates program for analyzing campus jobs.
 This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Skills / Requirements

Education and/or Experience
 Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
 One year related experience and/or training required;
 Or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Language Skills
 Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
 Ability to speak fluent Spanish, helpful

Computer Skills
 Ability to use Microsoft Office products.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
 Current driver's license

Other Qualifications
 Must be able to travel 90% of the time
