Summary
Coordinates activities of job placement service for students and graduates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to travel 90% of the time in the Miami-Dade employment Market calling on large companies.
Cold calling and attaining appointments with mid to large size prospective employers to determine needs and to explain placement service.
Assist prospective employers to develop employment plans based on appraisals of aptitudes, interests, and personality characteristics of graduates.
Work with employers to come on site to FCC campuses to perform workshops and arranges on-campus interviews between employers and graduating students to facilitate placement of graduates.
Collects, organizes, and analyzes occupational, educational, and economic information for use in job placement activities.
Assists in conducting community surveys to gather labor market information such as prevailing wages, hours, training, and employment possibilities.
Coordinates program for analyzing campus jobs.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Skills / Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
One year related experience and/or training required;
Or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Language Skills
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to speak fluent Spanish, helpful
Computer Skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office products.

Current driver's license
Other Qualifications
Must be able to travel 90% of the time
