Job Description

City Furniture is continuing to grow and we are looking to add more talent to our Digital Marketing Department.  We are looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to develop and lead a strong team.  This person will own the Marketing Analytics from end to end within our retail and digital presence in a fast paced environment.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Combining reports, data discovery, data mining, dashboards, knowledge of internal data sets, and industry knowledge to provide strategy, recommendations, and recommended next steps to team members and upper management.
  • Responsible for creating, condensing, automating, and optimizing current and new reporting, dash boarding, and visualization, processes to help support the Marketing team on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis by leveraging BI Tools, Excel, R/Python, and other analytics tools
  • Responsible for creating predictive and descriptive models in accordance with the needs of the Marketing Team by leveraging BI Tools, Excel, R/Python, and other analytics tools(CLV, Attribution, Customer Segmentation)
  • Combining business knowledge and holistic company strategy with historical data to own and build forecasts for store sales, category sales, margin, foot traffic, and other major merchandising KPI’s and initiatives in Excel, R, and/or Python.

Job Requirements

Education - BA, BS or degree in a business related or quantitative field (Economics, Math, Statistics, or Equivalent)

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of experience in data science, Marketing analytics, or equivalent
  • Strong business knowledge and acumen
  • Strong communication skills to convey simple and concise data stories to mid to high level stakeholders
  • Self-starter, reliable team player with strong initiative and the ability to thrive in high-intensity, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience with large data sets, data warehouses, and data lakes in both access and shaping the future data requirements
  • Ability to provide accurate work estimates and deliver projects within deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving, planning, and time management skills
     

Technology Experience Required:

  • Strong quantitative skills, proficient in R, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, statistics skills
  • Strong Excel Experience
  • Some Business Intelligence Tool Experience: Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, etc.
  • Some experience with data engineering and data management (specifically DB2 Data Warehouse)
  • Some data mining experience
  • Some data modelling and predictive modelling experience
