Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning & servicing of all hotel areas & complete the day’s work assigned to high standards within the stipulated standard operating procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collection of computer printouts of occupancy status, arrival departure details and guest requests from the Housekeeping Supervisor / Assistant Housekeeper at the beginning of the shift
  • Clean rooms to the stipulated standards – priorities your work based daily room status.
  • Attend to spring cleaning from time to time according to the schedule to ensure villas are maintained to very high standards.
  • Complete all daily work sheets accurately & in a timely manner
  • Ensure that Guest laundry/Dry cleaning is collected from rooms.
  • To be vigilant and security conscious.
  • To check and report standard of linen to guest rooms and return any damaged linen to the linen room.
  • To ensure all guest rooms supply of soap, amenities and other materials are sufficient.
  • Be cautious about usage of chemicals to avoid damages to self & use them sparingly to minimize expenses, observe occupational health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in luxury hotels or resorts is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Flexible with different shifts
  • Be able to communicate in basic English effectively with others
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, kneeling or crouching
  • Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees; including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
